Privacy policy

This policy explains what information NazimFit collects, why, and what your rights are. The person responsible for your personal information is Nazim Bentoumi (NazimFit), Toronto (Ontario), Canada — contact@nazimfit.com.

1. What I collect

• Contact details: name, email, phone — when you pay (Stripe), book a call (Calendly) or write to me.
• Member account: your email and password (managed by Netlify; I do not have access to your password).
• Payment: processed by Stripe. I see the amount, date and status of your subscription, never your card number.
• Health information (coaching only): goal, weight, measurements, eating habits and your blood tests if you choose to send them.
• Calculator: the information you enter (including your email) to calculate your calorie needs.
• Site usage: visit statistics (Google Analytics) only if you accept them; recipe ratings (anonymous); your generator preferences, stored only on your device.

2. Why

• To provide the services you bought: member access, nutrition plan, follow-up.
• To answer your messages and organize calls.
• To manage payments and accounting obligations.
• To improve the site and recipes (anonymous statistics, ratings).

I never sell or rent your information.

3. Your health information

• I use it only with your explicit consent and only to personalize your nutrition coaching.
• Your blood tests are stored on my personal computer, protected by a password. They are never published or shared.
• I keep them during your coaching and then for no more than 24 months after it ends, before deleting them. You can ask for deletion at any time.
• You can withdraw your consent at any time: I will then stop using it and delete it.

4. Service providers and transfers

I use providers that process some information on my behalf: Netlify (hosting, member accounts, contact and starting-assessment forms), Stripe (payments), Calendly (appointments), Google (statistics if accepted, recipe ratings sheet) and my email provider. Some are located in the United States, so your information may be processed there under the laws of that country.

5. Cookies and local storage

• Necessary: member-area login and remembering your generator preferences.
• Statistics (Google Analytics): set only if you click “Accept”. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of the page.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, receive a copy of it, or withdraw your consent. Email contact@nazimfit.com: I reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the data protection authority in your country.

7. Retention

• Payment data and invoices: as required by accounting and tax obligations.
• Member account: as long as your account exists; deleted on request.
• Health information: no more than 24 months after your coaching ends.

8. Age

NazimFit services are intended for people aged 18 and over.
